Felicia J. Messimer
Felicia J. Messimer (or Lish) is a the director/media contact for Fur Kids Foundation. Her love of animals and writing is a perfect fit for the Foundation, and she spends much of her time writing blogs, updating the website and managing the marketing/media outreach for Fur Kids. She is one of three founders of Fur Kids Foundation.
Lish moved to Gillette in 2009, by way of Alaska and New Jersey/New York. She was born and raised in Wyoming and graduated with a degree in communications from the University of Wyoming. Lish is a marketing specialist at Campbell County Health.
Lish volunteers with Keep Gillette Beautiful, where she's helped organize the Scoop the Poop campaign, and Gillette Main Street. Lish is also a graduate of the Gillette Area Leadership Institute through the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, Lish received a Top 40 Under 40 Award in the state.
In her spare time, Lish enjoys gorging on culture, traveling, spending time outside with her rescued beagles Beatrix and Cooper, working on home improvement projects, cooking and reading.
