Who's excited for Thanksgiving? I know we are at Fur Kids Foundation! Wake up early to get that big ol' bird cooking, turn on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and later watch some football. If it snows, maybe I'll get the family together for a quick game of touch football to work up an appetite for all that food I'm gonna shovel in my mouth.
And then we'll set the table, dish out all the food and get ready to dig in. Chances are we'll also be stumbling over at least one over eager fur kid who's waiting for that one moment when she can snatch the turkey from your plate. But, before we allow you to let that happen, we want to make you aware of some foods that may not be so good for your four legged buddy. We wanted to share with you this Dogster article, Is It Safe for Dogs to Share Thanksgiving Feasts?, as it offered some great information on all the main dishes from turkey and stuffing to mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce, and a few others mixed in. And, if you're more of a visual person, check out the infographics (we love infographics), also supplied by Dogster, below.
