Amber Heim

Amber Heim serves as the Treasurer for Fur Kids Foundation. She is also co-chair for the Finance Committee. In this capacity, she continues to ensure we are compliant and transparent. Her main responsibilities as the Treasurer include overseeing all financial operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with governmental organizations.
Amber has always loved animals since she her first "best friend", Buster, at the age of two. She has yet to go without a fur baby (or six) since then. Amber, a Wyoming native, has resided in Gillette since 2003. She is the Office Manager and Bookkeeper for Independent Automation & Control, LLC and Independent Oil & Gas LLC. In her spare time, she enjoys riding the Harley with her husband, Tracy, being with family and friends, taking her fur babies on outings and has recently taken up fly fishing (pictured with Amber). |
