Don't just take your dog for a walk...Take your Walk for a Dog!
Calling all walking and running friends (with our without a dog), in Gillette, Wyoming or in other locations. Did you know that Fur Kids Foundation now partners with WoofTrax Walk for a dog? By using the using the "Walk for a Dog" app, you can help funnel funds into Fur Kids Foundation's paws by walking a dog--yours or a virtual one. All you have to do is download the Walk for a Dog FREE app onto your phone and select Fur Kids Foundation as the group you are walking to benefit. (Hint: If you're in Gillette, we may come up right away for you.) After you add a dog as your companion, or select a virtual dog, you can tap "Start Walking" and take a walk that will help Fur Kids Foundation raise money! What are you waiting for? Here's a bit more information:
- Be sure to take a walk at least once a week with the app to be counted as an active walker.
- WoofTrax donates based on the number of people actively walking; so, the more people walking for the Foundation, the more donations we receive.
- Don’t have a dog? Walk with Cassie (a virtual dog), walk with a dog from your shelter or rescue, or walk in memory of a dog you loved.
