Fur Kids Foundation part of two fundraisers on Saturday, December 10 to raise money for emergency veterinary care
November 28, 2016—Gillette, Wyoming--Fur Kids Foundation is asking pet lovers to clear their schedules on Saturday, December 10 for two paw-tastic fundraisers: Presents for Pets and Holiday Photos.
The fun begins at 10 am on December 10 at AVA Community Art Center, 509 W. Second Street, for a Presents for Pets Class, where participants will paint a set of pet dishes (small, medium or large) AND two wine glasses. The class costs $25 and 20% of the proceeds are donated to Fur Kids Foundation. To register for this class, please call AVA at 307.682.9133, Monday-Friday between 9 am-5:30 pm. Participants can also register at www.avacenter.org. |

Then from 2-4 pm on December 10, the Foundation and the Campbell County Fire Department invite families to join them for Holiday Photos at Fire Station No. 3, 800 Edwards Street—right next to Dalbey Memorial Park (Fishing Lake). At this event, participants can choose to pose with Santa Claus, Olaf, Grinch and/or a local CCFD Fireman. Kids and pets welcome for a minimum $5 donation to take as many photos wanted in a five-minute window. Participants are asked to take their own photos with any or all of the characters; those without a camera can ask a Fur Kids Foundation volunteer to take the photo, which can be downloaded after the event from the Foundation’s Facebook page. No registration is required. Funds raised at Holiday Photos will be split between the two groups to help the CCFD Bike Patrol Unit purchase bicycles and other necessary equipment, and Fur Kids Foundation to continue to help families pay for unexpected veterinary care.
