Felicia J. Messimer-ShannonFelicia J. Messimer-Shannon (or Lish) is a founding board member and the Secretary for Fur Kids Foundation. Her love of animals and writing is a perfect fit for the Foundation, and she spends much of her time writing blogs, updating the website and managing the marketing for Fur Kids.
Lish is a Wyoming native and has lived in Gillette since 2009. She has a bachelors of science degree in communications from the University of Wyoming. Lish is a full-time plus-sized Pilates teacher at Felicia Jane Pilates and is working to establish The Collective with Kneaded Bodyworks to help other movement and mindfulness professionals establish themselves in the community. Lish is a graduate of the Gillette Area Leadership Institute through the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce. In 2015, Lish received a Top 40 Under 40 Award in the state. |

In her spare time, Lish enjoys movement (especially Pilates and Restorative Yoga), spending time outside with family and rescued dogs, photography / playing with videos, working on home improvement projects, gorging on culture, traveling, cooking and reading.
