August 10, 2015—Gillette, WY— Fur Kids Foundation, with support from Campbell County and the City of Gillette, is hosting a Pooch Plunge so you can play with your pup in the water!
Bring your dog to the City Pool, 909 S. Gillette Avenue, on Saturday, August 29 from 11 am-2 pm and watch your pups have a blast plunging into the water. Registration begins at 10:30 am. Cost is $5 for up to two dogs, humans get in free! Tennis balls, Frisbees and dog treats will be provided. Attendees may also participate in a 50/50 raffle as well as bid on some fun dog gift baskets at the event.
Humans will not be allowed to play in the pool with their pups. Participants are asked to only bring dogs who are people and dog friendly to the event, and to keep control of their dog at all times. Registration will be taken the day of the event, but attendees may register online or download a registration form at www.furkidsfoundation.org.
The Pooch Plunge is supported by Cloud Peak Energy, First National Bank of Gillette, Junker Family, Masters of Ceremony, and Billy Montgomery.
Fur Kids Foundation is the only organization in Northeastern Wyoming that provides families with pets access to emergency veterinary care when they cannot afford it. The Foundation will also host its signature event, Pet-A-Palooza, on September 12 at CAM-PLEX Park Shelter No. 5.
