FKF receives $500 from local realtor alliance
December 1, 2016—Gillette, Wyoming--Earlier this month, the Northeast Wyoming REALTOR Alliance donated $500 to Fur Kids Foundation from its Community Outreach Fund to be used to help local families with pets with emergency veterinary costs. Since 2009, the Alliance has granted $108,000 from its Community Outreach Fund, and this year it granted $14,700 to 10 organizations in Campbell County, Wyoming. This is the fourth year that Fur Kids Foundation has applied and received money from the Community Outreach Fund.
“We are very grateful to the Northeast Wyoming REALTOR Alliance for their $500 donation this year, and for their continued support of Fur Kids Foundation,” says Mary Melaragno, Fur Kids Foundation president and founder. “This Alliance has always held a great interest in the well-being of our community. Since 2009, they have made a substantial impact for the many nonprofit organizations in Campbell County. We are thrilled to receive this donation from them, and will use it to further our mission of helping local families with pets afford emergency veterinary costs.” |
Created in November 2011, the Fur Kids Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization that provides education and aid to promote the well-being of families with animals in Campbell County, Wyoming. Since September 2012, Fur Kids Foundation has helped more than 350 families and granted more than $55,000 in emergency veterinary aid.
