Paint Your Pet Fundraiser in may
Proceeds benefit Fur Kids Foundation
May 14, 2015—Gillette, WY--For the second month this year, Paint Your Canvas owner Sandra Aberle is hosting a Paint Your Pet Fundraiser to benefit Fur Kids Foundation. The first two Paint Your Pet sessions, held in February, raised more than $1,100 to help keep pets healthy in Campbell County, Wyoming.
Paint Your Canvas is offering two classes at the studio, 1001 S. Douglas Highway, Suite 195:
· Friday, May 29 at 6 pm
· Saturday, May 30 at 1 pm
Participants are invited to paint portraits of their bunny, cat, dog, fish, gerbil, horse, lizard or snake, among others. Paint Your Canvas teachers will instruct participants through each step to paint their pet on a 16”x20” canvas. Participants can opt to paint their pet in a realistic or an impressionistic form, and can have their pet drawn on the canvas before class if they email the photo to [email protected] by Tuesday, May 26. Portraits will be headshots only. Cost is $35—$20 from each painting is donated to Fur Kids Foundation, a local nonprofit that provides financial assistance to families when their pet is unexpectedly ill or injured, and has to be taken to the vet.
