Sheryl martin is a founder of Fur Kids Foundation. She was inspired by her and her daughter's years spent volunteering with a Humane Society to help create and be a part of a Foundation that would aid the financial accessibility of emergent medical care for animals. Sheryl is a past president of the Foundation, and now serves on the Finance Committee.
Sheryl, a South Dakota native, moved to Wyoming in 1985 but has called Gillette her home since 1996. Her days are spent as a District Sales Manager for BlueCross BlueShield of Wyoming. She also volunteers on the Disaster Action Team for the North East Wyoming Chapter of the American Red Cross. Sheryl's family has two dogs, Scruffy and Leo, along with a cat named Hobbes, all are rescues. Sheryl cannot remember a time in her life where she didn't have pets nor can she imagine life without pets. In her spare time, she enjoys sleeping in on Saturdays and hanging out with her husband, David, and daughter, Jordan, pictured with her. She is an avid Seattle Seahawks fan and if she's not cheering on her team you may find her cruising around in her custom El Camino. |
