Bella’s mom has had Bella since she was 12 weeks old, and she said that she "adores her old lady." She brought Bella to the vet, where she learned that Bella has arthritis, and the rough housing between the two senior pooches was just a little too much for Bella.
Her mom recently changed jobs, and the job she currently has she makes just enough to cover bills, and she didn’t have much saved for unexpected costs, so she reached out to Fur Kids Foundation for help. The vet gave Bella Rimadyl and Dasuquin, and is well on her way to have a re-match with Daisy.
Hint: If you do give your pup Rimadyl, be sure to check out the Rimadyl Rewards Program. For every bottle purchased, you'll get points for a refund. You'll also receive credit on a special Rimadyl card to use for future meds or yearly blood tests. Be sure to talk with your vet about this program.
Please note: Aspirin, a common over-the-counter medicine for pain relief, should not be given to your pet without a vet’s direction. And other pain relievers such as Tylenol or Ibuprofen should never be given. Please consult a vet before you give your pet medication for pain management.
